April in the spring anew ... Outerglobe Artists in Action:

April's STILL looking good!  

Juwon Ogungbe, Taxi Pata Music & Arts and DJ Debbie have key dates; Mosi Conde's "Jaw dropping Spectacular" live set on A World in London videoclip is online and so is the full interview and DJ Ritu and Cultural Co-operation are now even firmer fans! So much so that Mosi Conde has been invited to play at QEH (Front Room) for their Refugee Week initiative on June 19th!

Taxi Pata Pata Music and Arts start a wonderful workshop series in West London led by Nsimba and Ella (in her visual arts persona). Ella the Great just did a fabulous set at the Clown Cabaret Review and is going to the  Edinburgh Festival in the summer, 

Caroline Trettine is working on the new Mirabeau album which launches later in the year ... SO much going on ...

Here goes! 

April 17th  7.30pm Juwon Ogungbe reprieves his very successful piano performance of his composition to animate the remarkable silent film Siliva the Zulu for South Africa at 20 at Wilton's Music Hall, 1 Graces Alley, London E1 8JB More info and tickets here

April 22nd, 29th, May 6th Taxi Pata Pata Music & Arts present Painting to the Sound of Drums
at Edward Woods Community Centre, Norland Road, W12 4TX 4.30-7pm and then the series continues at White City Community Centre, Bloemfontain Road, W12 7QT on May 15th & 22nd
Sessions are free and open to all. An exhibition will take place to celebrate the series also 

April 24th DJ Debbie Outerglobe plays great sets at the launch of Zimbabwean Anna Mudeka's new album alongside Afriquoi fusionists and other fab African and global music DJs. The event is presented by OPEN THE GATE and news about it is HERE
