To this solid foundation he adds Bolon Bata – a goatskin covered calabash which in his expert hands more than equals major double bass players, Donso Ngoni (round - bass), Kamelon Ngoni (the griot’s bass), Balafon (as vibrant as any Vibes or Xylophone), Guitar, Gongoma (large calabash thumb piano) and many many traditional percussion instruments. A living contemporary archive!  Highly respected, he has been involved in some stunning collaborations including being part of Africa Express In C Mali, the PRSF New Music Bienalle, Coltrane A Love Supreme Re-envisioned, In Place of War …

MOSI CONDE solo or with his band Kaira Kora Afrika creates music that excites and delights, his virtuoso skill evident throughout. “We griots are born in music, every family plays together. Advance tickets link  is at :  We Got Tickets

Fast becoming a Green Note favourite, Guinean master Griot, Mosi Conde returns with an uplifting evening's entertainment. The first set will showcase Mosi's outstanding solo prowess and compositions with more revelations from his forthcoming solo album. The second set will raise the roof with Mosi Conde and his fabulous Kaira Kora Afrika full band.

Immensely skilled and talented,Mosi Conde is from Guinea Conakry's leading Griot family whose members are key to most of West Africa's vital traditional and contemporary related music scene. Mory Kante is amongst his closest maternal uncles and called Mosi to join him as part of Baaba Maal's Africa Utopia finale concert at the Royal Festival Hall. Lately he has expanded his repertoire and was part of the musically challenging and innovative Love Supreme Re-envisioned Kings College Chapel concert as well as being part of major Festivals including The Shimmy and London African Music Festival.

Mosi Conde's compositions are steeped in tradition with a global sonic awareness, growing from his fierce love and awareness of his original culture and reflecting his strong involvement and commitment as a Londoner. Master of every instrument he learnt as a young child, he is a kora virtuoso, a searingly beautiful guitar player, vividly dextrous balafonist, an intricate and dynamic djembe proponent and a mellifluous singer. Whether solo or leading his matchless Kaira Kora Afrika crew Mosi is an engaging and popular performer delivering crisp exciting shows with the crowds more than willing to join in call and response and dance. Equally the more meditational pieces hold an audience spellbound.

Mosi Conde's debut album Kaira Kora Afrika garnered appreciative reviews, widespread radio coverage including BBC R3, Resonance FM, Colourful and international airplay. His second album is in progress and will be launched mid year – maybe even at Green Note .. watch this space.

“Utterly mesmorising and spellbinding, totally infectious! Truly great music” Rainlore’s World of Music;

MOSI CONDE -  one of the UK's finest artists with a repertoire that spans so much musical and artistic experience. Recent concerts and performances reflect his growing stature as a solo artist whilst his band is much in demand as well with a matchless crew.

2013 has seen Mosi headline at Passing Clouds and play at several major charity launches and events. He is also piloting schools workshops in SE London very successfully. He made a big impact once again at The Shimmy, the flagship finale of Wandsworth Arts Festival & Fringe and Africa Day Celebrations  at Charlton House and and sold out a major event featuring all aspects of his music at Green Note in Camden, London.

Having recently delighted festival goers in Hastings and East London as well as getting an enthusiastic audience of 80-90 year olds onto their feet, Mosi is now planning for his London African Music Festival on 13 September at the historic and splendid Charlton House. He is also taking part in the legendary Africa Centre's moving on Festival with a 'Mosi Conde' day with workshop, rehearsal and club feature evening on Sunday 8 December. ,

Mosi's status and respect shown is reflected in some great work  he has been doing lately - garnering great mentions for his part in 'A Love Supreme - John Coltrane re-envisioned', a mainstay of the Games Animation for Greenwich, taking Small World Festival by storm,
World City Music Village, Collaborations with spoken word artists of the calibre of Bob Holman and Innua Ellams and ... playing at the Royal Albert Hall and at the Royal Festival Hall sharing the stage with Baaba Maal, Bassekou Kouyate and his uncle Mory Kante....
